Guiding principles
TROIS C-L – Centre de Création Chorégraphique Luxembourgeois is the country’s leading organisation for contemporary dance. Supported by the Ministry of Culture, it fulfills several missions:
History
Founded at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture in 1994, from the outset of the TDM association (“Théâtre dansé et muet”) was intended to promote choreography in Luxembourg.
Bringing together various players from the dance world, the TDM‘s objectives were both artistic and educational.
In 2005, TDM became TROIS C-L - Centre de Création Chorégraphique Luxembourgeois. This change was in line with the expansion and the increasingly professional nature of contemporary dance sector in Luxembourg.
Building and facilities
TROIS C-L is located since 2011 in the Banannefabrik. An old fruit warehouse. There are 3 studios:
The building can host an audience up to 99 people. The staff works in two office and a meeting room. The building also provide a library for professionals.
