By invitation of the West Kowloon Centre, four EDN members joined the 4th edition of the Producers' Network Meeting and Forum. It provided a new occasion for EDN to connect with AND+ since the Encounter in Japan in 2017.
Under the theme “Championing Innovation”, PNMF examined programme planning, venue operation, audience development and cross-disciplinary collaboration in four days of Closed-door Meeting and a public forum.
Coinciding with the annual meeting of the Asia-Pacific region Producers’ Network Meeting and Forum organised by the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, four EDN members travelled to Hong Kong to follow on the Asian development in contemporary dance. The programme specially designed for EDN start edwith a connection with the core group of people involved in the recently created AND+ (Asian Network for Dance).
EDN members were also invited to present a case of best practices of their own dancehouse in relation with audience engagement or innovation. Furthermore, the EDN participants contributed actively in thematic discussions, speed meetings with artists and sharing of ideas for concrete projects.
